Rise and
Shine

Baptist Village hosted
January's Rise and Shine in their state of the art exercise
facility. The Village features a full continuum of services
for the elderly. In 1958, Baptist Village began with
facilities accommodating five residents and has grown to
facilities in three locations providing retirement living
for over six hundred senior adults. The vision of Baptist
Village Retirement Communities continues to be Serving God
by Providing Excellence in Retirement Living.

Business After Hours

The first BAH of
2012 was a rousing success! Well over 60 people gathered in
the Club House of The Lakes at Laura S. Walker to enjoy
refreshments and camaraderie. All of the hosts (Laurie Adams
and her staff and volunteers, the members of The Friends of
Laura S. Walker State Park, Martin Bell and the Okefenokee
Swamp Park and Dave Desai at the Best Western Bradbury Inn &
Suites) did a wonderful job putting together a stellar
event.
The Lakes was voted the 2009 Best Municipal Golf Course in Georgia by
Golf Digest. For more information on the Lakes visit
